Marine & Offshore power requirements
Offshore duty is the harshest test a generator can face. Every component — from the canopy paint system to the cable glands — must be selected for a marine atmosphere, and the package must pass a third-party survey before it is accepted.
We supply containerised packages with Container Safety Convention approval and Marine C5 corrosion protection, and we can support the classification survey documentation package.

How projects are delivered
From load schedule to commissioning in marine & offshore
The same three stages run on every order, whatever the configuration: engineering before the quotation, a documented load test before packing, and support after the set is on site.
Step 01
Engineering and sizing
Load schedule, starting currents, ambient and altitude derating are worked through before a rating is proposed — the alternator is sized for the largest step, not the average.
Step 02
Factory build and load test
Assembly, wiring and paint in one works, then a four-point load bank run at 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 % with the test sheet serial-numbered to the set.
Step 03
Shipping, commissioning and support
Export packing, documentation and commissioning guidance, with spare-parts supply and remote diagnosis for the life of the installation.

An offshore support operator that wanted self-contained generation able to ride on deck, in salt air, between charters.
The brief
The vessel takes charter jobs with different power demands, and shore supply is not always available. The operator wanted a self-contained set that could move between vessels.
What we supplied
A 200 kVA set in a C5-coated container with lift frame, integral fuel day tank and marine-grade cabling, witnessed by the class surveyor at delivery.
On site today
The set has completed two charters, running deck machinery and accommodation load in salt-air conditions without a recorded fault.
