Both 50 Hz and 60 Hz builds are listed. Model codes carry the standby rating and, where two builds share a rating, a trailing letter.
FAWDE ratings are declared to ISO 8528 at 40 °C, and the engines are naturally aspirated or lightly turbocharged, so altitude derate is significant above 1,500 m. Ask for the corrected rating for highland sites.
Entry-level, not makeshift
These are truck-derived engines, so the service model is familiar to any diesel mechanic.
FAWDE sets are built for markets where the buyer maintains everything in-house. We supply most of them as canopied units with mechanical control panels, deliberately avoiding electronics that cannot be repaired locally. Open skid builds are popular for workshops and small factories that already have a plant room.

FAWDE is the diesel engine division of FAW Group, based in Wuxi. The engines share truck lineage, and parts distribution follows the FAW dealer network.
Roughly 5.5 to 6 litres per hour at 75 % load. It is higher than a Perkins or Kubota of the same rating, which is the trade-off against purchase price.
Yes. We pair these sets with a standard ATS and a mechanical control panel, and the ATS can be supplied as a separate wall-mounted unit.
