Both 50 Hz and 60 Hz builds are listed. Model codes carry the standby rating and, where two builds share a rating, a trailing letter.
Yuchai declares ratings to ISO 8528 at 40 °C ambient. The larger YC12 engines hold output well in heat but need the coolant circuit sized for continuous duty, so we quote the radiator separately for prime-power projects.
Volume platform, export package
High domestic volume keeps parts cheap; the export package is what makes the set survive outside China.
Yuchai sets are assembled for export with a deliberate parts strategy: common filters, a Deep Sea controller and a locally serviceable fuel system. Small YC4 units go into canopies, YC6 units into canopies or open skids, and the YC12 twelve-cylinder engines at the top of the range into containers with remote cooling.

Yuchai injectors, cylinder heads, turbochargers and complete short blocks are inexpensive, and the domestic volume means most parts are stocked rather than made to order.

It is publicly listed with state-linked ownership, based in Guangxi. It is one of the largest diesel engine producers in China by unit volume.

Most export builds are Tier 3 or China Stage II. Stage V is limited to specific models, so confirm the certificate before tendering into the EU.
